Paddle Out And Fundraiser For A Fallen Marine


Tamatea Teai "T", lost his life on Memorial Day while fighting to defend the freedoms of our great nation. Tamatea Teai "T", a legendary, decorated and Ret. Reconnaissance Marine, leaves behind a family, wife and three daughters. 


On Friday, July 19th @ 5:30pm, there will be a paddle out for "T" here in Emerald Isle. Bring your own board for the paddle out. For those of you without a board that would like to participate in the paddle out, there will be a few boards available, but they will be first come, first serve.


Following the paddle out , there will be a toast for "T" at sunset, his favorite time of day. This will be BYOB.

Earlier in the day at 11am, there will be a fundraiser for the family. The location for the fundraiser will be the Emerald Club here in Emerald Isle. (Click the link below for more info).

  • No Logos = Flat or Really Bad. Pretty much unrideable! A good time to get other things done.
  • 1 Logo = Rideable but not good form. Might not be worth the time or effort but there could be a few okay waves.
  • 2 Logos = Could be fun. Rideable and a few okay waves to be ridden.
  • 3 Logos = Fun! Better than the average day. Worth paddling out depending on the surface conditions.
  • 4 Logos = Really fun. Paddle out if you can. One of the better days of the year.
  • 5 Logos = Rare Epic or All Time conditions. Quitting work or skipping school is an option but not encouraged. Why are you still reading the report! Paddle out now!
